Gaming Voice Staff

Kevin L. Kitchens, Editor
Kevin is a long time voice in the computer gaming industry. A programmer by trade, Kevin has developed third-party tools for games as well as performed beta testing services for several major game releases. In 1994, he founded "The Perfect Game" as a bi-monthly newsletter for fans of PC Baseball simulations and in 1997 took the newsletter online with the creation of "The Perfect Game" website.

The site eventually became "Gaming Voice" and branched out to cover not only all genres, but PC and Console platforms as well. Kevin hopes to provide game players and developers with a fresh perspective while retaining a family-friendly news outlet.

Reviewers

Rob "Wedge" Amos
Rob is a 32 year old Director of Information Systems (translation: computer guy) rom Florida. A recently retired golf pro of nine years, Rob is an avid sports and RPG nut on both the PS2 and Xbox, but will play any platform game with anyone, since he essentially has no friends -- other than his imaginary friend, Kermit. Rob spends way too much time playing video games and likes puppies, long walks on the beach, and low-cost car insurance.

Erik "Bondo" Bondurant
Erik is an avid fan of supporting systems with a minority market share as seen by the N64, Dreamcast, and Mac he owns. Currently he wears out a Gamecube and GameBoy Advance along with playing Rainbow Six and Return to Castle Wolfenstein on the Mac. Erik was the editor of the now defunct magazine Major Review. He is an English major in training in the University of Colorado system.

Joe Brehler
Joe is a PC systems builder and a videogame fanatic. Raised on Pong and the Atari 2600, he has owned every system available for gaming -- from the Commodore 64 to the Xbox (and everything in-between). His passion is with online PC first-person shooters, but is an avid console player as well.

Wesley "Proteus" Button
Wes is a 20 year old freelance graphic designer from Southern California. He enjoys playing first person shooters, fighting, flight-sim, and action/adventure games for his Xbox and PC. As a die-hard Star Trek fan, he also can not resist any game science fiction in nature. Aside from games, Wes enjoys spending time at the beach, digital photography, and Airsoft combat simulations (like paintball but with realistic guns).

Christopher Lipski
Christopher has been playing computer games for the last 15 years, with The Bard's Tale being one of his most memorable titles. He is 35, with a background in computers from the Air Force, and currently resides in New York. Using the computer has allowed him to explore, not only what-if scenarios that come with war games, but explore the files themselves. The great advantage that computer games have over consoles is that third parties will find a way to modify a game to give it extra longevity.

Sean Mallory

Mark Megerian
Mark is a 35 year old software engineer, working and living in the barren plains of Minnesota. Between his many interests and hobbies, Mark always finds time to immerse himself in video games. Currently, his platform of choice is the PS2. Recent favorites have been Ico, Jak & Daxter, Red Faction, and the overlooked and underrated gem, Sky Odyssey. All-time favorites include Metal Gear Solid (better than the sequel), Syphon Filter, Final Fantasy VII, and Tie Fighter for the PC.

Kevin Oye
Kevin's has a vast selection of hobbies and talents, which include PC Repair, Digital Art, Hockey and of course, Gaming. He has followed games since he was 14 and has grown up with all the systems right from Atari 2600 to what he owns now -- the PS2 and Gamecube. His favourite (he's Canadian, note the 'u') types of games are RPG, FPS, TPS, Adventure, Strategy, and Sports. Kevin looks forward to the future of gaming and what it will bring. "It's going to be a fun era, no matter what age you are. You only live once, so why not enjoy what the world is offering."
