Gaming Voice and/or PEI Development does not sell or otherwise transfer personally identifiable information about or from individual users to unaffiliated third parties without the approval of the user at the time of collection. When personal information is collected from the user, the user will have the opportunity to indicate whether he or she would like to decline to receive promotional and/or marketing information about other products, services and offerings from Gaming Voice, PEI Development and/or any third parties. Further, notwithstanding any opt out of promotional information by the user, Gaming Voice reserves the right to contact a reader concerning the service provided by Gaming Voice/PEI Development and/or the information collected.
Gaming Voice reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the site and to inform advertisers of such information as well as the number of users that have been exposed to or clicked on their advertising banners. Gaming Voice will provide only aggregated data from these analyses to third parties. No individually identifiable information will be provided in this manner. Gaming Voice is not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties and users should check the applicable privacy policy of such party when providing personally identifiable information.
In the event a Gaming Voice user wins one of our contests, only the information required to provide those companies offering prizes the means to issue prizes to the winners will be supplied.
Users of Gaming Voice participate in gamer ratings, gamer review sections, and discussion forums at their own risk. Every effort will be take to provide policing of these sections of Gaming Voice by Gaming Voice staff, but Gaming Voice and its staff will not be held liable for any damages or injuries arising from user posted comments and feedback.
Upon request, Gaming Voice will allow any user to decline further promotional contacts at any time. Additionally upon request, Gaming Voice will use reasonable efforts to allow users to update/correct personal information previously submitted which the user states is erroneous.
The foregoing policies are effective as of May 1, 1999. Gaming Voice reserves the right to change this policy at any time. This statement and the policies outlined herein are not intended to and do not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party.
