If the person on your list already has one of the big three systems (PS2, Xbox, or GameCube) or the handheld GameBoy Advance, there are many titles that will bring a smile to their face… and yours too if you can wrestle the controller away from a game or two. The following are our recommendations for Sure Shots of this Christmas season.

All Star Baseball 2002 (Acclaim, $49.99)
The first baseball title for the GameCube, All-Star Baseball delivers all 30 teams, stadiums, and 700 players. Former announcer and current skipper of the World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks, Bob Brenly handles the play-by-play with Thom Brennaman. EVERYONE.
Luigi’s Mansion (Nintendo, $49.99)
The Mario Bros. are back as Mario must rid Luigi’s new home of ghosts. Explore the “haunted” mansion in full 3D with spectacular graphics that showcase the GameCube’s abilities. EVERYONE.
Madden 2002 (Electronic Arts, $49.99)
A hit on several platforms, the GameCube version offers several play modes, realistic player graphics, and a team/stadium creator for ultimate customization. EVERYONE.
Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II (LucasArts, $49.99)
A GameCube exclusive much to the chagrin of Xbox owners. Play Luke Skywalker across 11 missions from the original trilogy of films. Battling TIE fighters over the Death Star is a blast.
Wave Race: Blue Storm (Nintendo, $49.99)
Fabulous water effects and great environmental effects make this JetSki racing game a must have. EVERYONE.
